On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced Boiler Makers to fabricate, assemble, install, repair, and maintain heavy steel structures, pressure vessels, tanks, boilers, and mechanical components for a major industrial construction project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The successful candidates will ensure all fabrication and installation work complies with engineering drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Fabricate structural steel and pressure components.
Read engineering and fabrication drawings.
Assemble boilers, tanks, and pressure vessels.
Perform plate cutting, rolling, and fitting.
Mark out materials accurately before fabrication.
Prepare components for welding and installation.
Install fabricated assemblies on site.
Repair damaged steel structures and equipment.
Conduct dimensional inspections.
Ensure fabrication meets project specifications.
Operate fabrication tools and machinery safely.
Maintain fabrication equipment and workstations.
Coordinate with welders, riggers, and fitters.
Observe HSE policies and permit-to-work systems.
Complete daily fabrication reports.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Skills & Requirements
Trade Test Certification.
Boiler Making Qualification.
Minimum 5 years' experience.
Industrial construction experience.
Pressure vessel fabrication experience.
Structural steel fabrication knowledge.
Drawing interpretation skills.
Equipment handling skills.
Quality workmanship.
Safety awareness.
English communication skills.
Physically fit for site work.
