PIPE FITTER / FABRICATOR – 6 POSITIONS

On behalf of our client, we are seeking experienced Pipe Fitters / Fabricators to install, fabricate, assemble, and maintain industrial piping systems for a major engineering project in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The successful candidates will ensure piping systems are installed accurately according to engineering drawings, project specifications, and international quality standards.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret piping isometric drawings.
Fabricate piping spools according to specifications.
Install carbon steel and stainless-steel piping systems.
Measure, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes.
Align piping systems for welding.
Install valves, flanges, supports, and fittings.
Conduct dimensional inspections.
Coordinate with welders and riggers.
Verify piping elevations and alignment.
Ensure compliance with approved drawings.
Perform fit-up inspections before welding.
Maintain fabrication tools and equipment.
Observe project HSE procedures.
Prepare daily work progress reports.
Maintain housekeeping within work areas.
Perform any other assigned duties.
Skills & Requirements
Trade Test Certification.
Pipe Fitting Qualification.
Minimum 5 years' industrial experience.
Industrial piping construction experience.
Ability to read piping drawings.
Fabrication skills.
Knowledge of ASME piping standards.
Mechanical aptitude.
Safety awareness.
Communication skills.
Physically fit.
English proficiency.
