On behalf of our client, we are seeking qualified Riggers to safely plan and execute lifting, moving, positioning, and securing of heavy equipment, piping systems, structural steel, and mechanical components during industrial construction activities. The successful candidates will ensure all lifting operations comply with approved lifting plans and international safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare lifting equipment before operations.
Inspect slings, shackles, chains, and lifting gear.
Execute safe lifting operations.
Guide crane operators during lifting activities.
Secure heavy loads correctly.
Install lifting accessories.
Interpret lifting plans.
Conduct pre-lift inspections.
Monitor load stability throughout lifting.
Maintain lifting equipment records.
Report defective lifting gear.
Ensure compliance with lifting procedures.
Coordinate with supervisors and crane operators.
Maintain safe work areas.
Participate in toolbox meetings.
Perform any other assigned duties.
Skills & Requirements
Trade Test Certification.
Rigger Certification Required.
Minimum 4 years' experience.
Heavy industrial construction experience.
Crane signaling knowledge.
Lifting equipment inspection skills.
Knowledge of lifting regulations.
Safety certification preferred.
Good communication skills.
Teamwork skills.
English proficiency.
Physically fit.
