WELDER (6G) – 6 POSITIONS

Responsibilities
Perform 6G pipe welding on industrial piping systems.
Read and interpret isometric and fabrication drawings.
Execute TIG, SMAW, FCAW, and GTAW welding processes as required.
Prepare welding joints and materials before welding.
Ensure welds comply with approved WPS and PQR requirements.
Inspect weld preparations before commencement.
Perform root pass, fill, and cap welding to specification.
Maintain welding quality with minimal defects and rework.
Operate welding machines and related equipment safely.
Ensure compliance with project QA/QC procedures.
Maintain welding consumables and equipment properly.
Observe all HSE policies and permit-to-work requirements.
Support hydrostatic and pressure testing activities.
Complete daily welding activity reports.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Skills & Requirements
Trade Test Grade I.
Certified 6G Welder.
ASME/API Certification Advantage.
Minimum 5 years' industrial piping experience.
Oil & Gas experience preferred.
Industrial plant construction experience.
Ability to read isometric drawings.
Knowledge of welding symbols.
Familiarity with WPS and PQR.
Strong quality awareness.
English communication skills.
Physically fit for site work.
